Application analysts are Woman’s Epic project team members who serve as the primary builders and support contacts for each application. One of their biggest responsibilities at this early part of the project is to become certified to build in the Epic environment. This requires a variety of classes, projects and tests that can take on average 4-6 weeks, sometimes longer.
As we ramp up work on our Epic implementation, many of our analysts, trainers and managers have traveled to Verona, Wisconsin (Epic’s headquarters) for training the last few weeks to learn more about the system and gain knowledge as we plan for our own system configuration, training and go-live. They even braved the snow and ice for some fun team-building activities after long days of learning!
